Facilities and Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

The Reno organization is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Engineering Coordinator. This position will report to the Executive Director of Engineering and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Facilities and Chief Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all incoming calls, directing work requests and emergency calls to the Chief Engineer and Shift Supervisor.
  • Work closely with the corporate and property team to coordinate and provide assistance as requested.
  • Develop and implement new recommendations based on proven method analysis.
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Interface with all departments within Reno to maintain brand integrity and consistency.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and database management.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the Reno organization.
  • Must be able to perform physical job duties of line employees in emergency situations.
  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations.
