Position Summary:


The individual selected for this role will take charge and collaborate with diverse project teams, delivering process engineering and technical knowledge concerning hydrocarbons and other combustible fluids.

Project responsibilities may encompass petroleum refining, chemical or industrial process design, process safety, and engineering methodologies.

Key tasks may involve conducting material and energy balances, creating instrumentation and control diagrams, modeling, developing process flow diagrams, drafting reports and equipment specifications, estimating costs, and sizing process equipment.

This role will also entail project management and client coordination, alongside opportunities for professional growth, mentoring, and business expansion.


Essential Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in chemical, petrochemical, or mechanical engineering
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Experience in industrial environments as an operating engineer, project engineer, or consultant
Proficient understanding of codes and guidelines related to process safety
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
A proactive approach in a project team setting that fosters self-initiative
A flexible working style to accommodate deadlines and client requirements
Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship
Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

Desirable Qualifications:
15+ years of relevant experience
Experience with gated project delivery methods
Familiarity with design software such as AspenTech or equivalent
Experience with alternative fuels like hydrogen, biofuels, or ammonia
Willingness to contribute to business development efforts
Professional Engineer designation or the ability to obtain it within one year, or relevant registrations or certifications related to process safety
A hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position, allowing for a combination of office and remote work.

This position may be based out of various offices.


Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this role is $105,000–$125,000/year, with variations based on experience, education, and skill level. Employees in this position may also qualify for a discretionary cash bonus.
