We are in search of a Lead Compiler Architect specializing in AI Compiler technologies to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and optimization of compilers tailored for state-of-the-art semiconductor products. Collaboration with hardware engineers, software developers, and other key stakeholders will be essential to ensure the successful execution of compiler-related initiatives.

This position offers a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a machine learning graph compiler.
  • Engage in the co-design of Tenstorrent's hardware and software ecosystem.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and enhance the performance of critical machine learning applications across Tenstorrent's hardware and software ecosystem.
  • Create performance analysis and estimation tools that contribute to the Tenstorrent compiler.
  • Develop a high-performance runtime engine.
  • Integrate Tenstorrent software with leading machine learning frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers to identify the hardware and software needs for current and future machine learning applications.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of extensive experience in compiler development, focusing on optimizing compilers for high-performance computing environments.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, with a solid background in compiler toolchains and development frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of computer architecture principles, especially regarding AI accelerators and heterogeneous computing systems.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering production-quality compiler solutions and optimizing performance for intricate workloads.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a capacity to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative setting.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
