Role Summary:
As a Lead AI Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, efficient, and scalable web applications and backend services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable Generative AI systems applicable across various projects and platforms.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about the latest software engineering practices and methodologies, applying this knowledge to enhance software quality.
- Collaborate effectively with a global engineering and product team.
Qualifications:
We encourage candidates who meet most of the qualifications to apply, even if they do not meet every requirement.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Over 10 years of hands-on coding experience.
- Proficiency in Generative AI software engineering tools, including GitHub CoPilot.
- Experience with various programming languages and frameworks, particularly Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and C#.
- Expertise in creating secure, scalable, and well-architected software solutions.
- Experience in developing RESTful web services and modern web applications.
- Familiarity with cloud service deployment and configuration, including AWS ECS/Fargate, AWS Serverless, Azure Functions, and AWS Lambda.
- Experience in managing version control systems, conducting static code analysis, and performing code reviews.
- Skills in load testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing web service performance.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of advanced AI techniques such as reinforcement learning and natural language processing.
- Experience with cloud-based AI services and infrastructure.
- Background in large data-driven services.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Experience with Generative AI solutions, including Azure AI Studio, AWS Bedrock, and Hugging Face.
