Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Direct and oversee engineering and technician teams to ensure successful project completion.
  • Design Coordination: Manage the structural design scope, collaborating with internal teams and external consultants.
  • Project Planning: Create, monitor, and manage project timelines, work plans, and budget allocations.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the main liaison for clients and contractors throughout the design and construction processes.
  • Quality Control: Formulate and execute project-specific quality assurance and quality control plans.
  • Staff Development: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, supporting their professional growth.
  • Project Representation: Participate in project meetings and represent Martin/Martin during design and construction phases.
  • Client Relationship Management: Actively cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • A minimum of 9 years of progressive engineering experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as 1 year; passing the 16-hour SE exam also counts as 1 year).
  • Proven leadership skills that contribute to the company's future success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing multiple projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong internal and external communication skills.
  • Advanced project management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and deadlines.
  • Capacity to handle confidential information.
