The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing project management and budgetary considerations for projects ranging from $15k to $1M+.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise engineering and technical personnel to ensure project completion.
  • Coordinate structural design efforts both internally and with external consultants.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage comprehensive project work plans, timelines, and financial budgets.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients and contractors throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Create and implement project-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, aiding in their professional growth.
  • Represent Martin/Martin, Inc. in project meetings during both design and construction stages.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • A minimum of 9 years of progressive engineering experience (Master's degrees and SE exam completion may count towards this).
  • Proven leadership skills that contribute to the organization's success.
  • Experience managing projects in advanced industries such as Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Data Center, and Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Ability to work effectively within established schedules and budgets.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills across various disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of Architectural, MEP, and Civil systems and their implications on projects.
  • Possession of a PE license in Colorado or the ability to obtain one within three months.

Desired:

  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Extensive experience in designing and managing advanced industry projects from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional internal and external communication capabilities.
  • Advanced project management expertise.
  • Experience overseeing large-scale projects and budgets.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Capability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience engaging with clients regarding project challenges and feasibility concerns.
