We are seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Account Executive with a strong interest in the metals sector. This role is crucial for driving the success of our expanding organization, specializing in high-quality stainless steel and aluminum products.

Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 based on experience.

Position Summary:
In the role of Inside Sales Account Executive, you will oversee a designated portfolio of accounts, fostering and nurturing customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include supporting sales growth through effective communication and collaboration with various departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support.
  • Act as the main contact for all inquiries related to your accounts.
  • Develop and sustain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Assess customer requirements, propose suitable solutions, and relay these needs to fulfillment teams.
  • Manage order processing and guarantee timely and precise delivery of orders.
  • Monitor departmental and customer-defined performance metrics.
  • Prepare reports for management and external sales personnel.
  • Oversee customer inventory aging.
  • Review pricing structures and ensure accuracy.
  • Utilize CRM software effectively to track interactions and progress.
  • Report directly to the Director of Fulfillment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales or business operations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations is a plus.
