About the Role

FleetPride is a leading distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S., seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and growing new customers to our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Planning: Develop a deep understanding of the market and identify opportunities to grow our customer base. Accurately assess the competitive situation in each account and educate customers on the value of FleetPride's offerings.
  • Call Planning: Determine the objective of each sales call and prepare accordingly. Utilize sales force automation tools to anticipate barriers and develop strategies to overcome them.
  • Customer Needs and Assessment: Ask probing questions to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for growth. Establish trust and engage customers in discussions to diagnose their business needs.
  • Value of FleetPride: Maintain open dialogue with customers to understand their drivers of value and continuously communicate the value delivered by FleetPride.
  • Teamwork: Leverage internal resources and networks to maximize business results. Act as an active and valuable member of our team, elevating customer issues to the correct resources for resolution.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of FleetPride's offerings, including major parts, their interrelations, and competitive advantages.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of B2B sales experience, preferred.
  • Ability to identify new prospects and support them through the sales process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated mechanical inclination and interest in FleetPride's industry.
  • Experience with CRM and other sales force automation tools is a plus.
