Job Overview

Index Industries is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and maintaining strong connections with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Proactively identify new business opportunities and potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain and maintain a deep understanding of our products/services, and effectively communicate their value propositions to potential customers.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our offerings.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Market Feedback: Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on customer insights and market trends.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the marketing, customer support, and product development teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the fastener industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
  • Education: (Not mandatory) Four-year degree from an accredited institute of higher learning.
  • Motivation: Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As well as possess the ability to accept constructive criticism, comprehend industry-specific training and information, and effectively apply it to their role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools. Demonstrable PC literacy and proficiency in NetSuite (Not mandatory).
