Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Middleware Specialist for a leading financial institution, tasked with overseeing technological advancements to enhance the reliability and security of our technical frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams, the IT & Architecture Strategy department, and the Infrastructure Operations teams
  • Develop and promote standards and best practices within the organization
  • Manage the lifecycle of application servers (IBM Websphere, Apache Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Glassfish, Redhat Jboss, CFT, MQ, etc.)
  • Implement automation (using Ansible) for the deployment of new technical components and routine administrative functions
  • Evaluate J2EE Websphere, Tomcat, Apache, and MQ applications
  • Provide insights on performance enhancements, clustering strategies, and the integration of new functionalities
  • Conduct ongoing technological assessments to ensure optimal stability and security
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation (procedures, operational modes)
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with critical production applications
  • Offer guidance on performance improvements, clustering, and new feature integrations
  • Design, develop, and strengthen data exchange infrastructures and Middleware application servers

Candidate Profile / Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience
  • Proficient in application servers (J2EE, Apache, IBM Websphere, Apache Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Glassfish, Redhat Jboss, CFT, MQSeries, Ansible, etc.)
  • Understanding of technical architectures
  • Familiarity with design, production techniques, and the banking sector is advantageous

Contract Type: Freelance

Mission Duration: 3 months renewable (Project visibility for a minimum of 1 year)
