Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Middleware Specialist to join our esteemed organization, focusing on the optimization and security of technical infrastructures within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams, the Systems Integration & Architecture Strategy department, and the Infrastructure Operations teams.
  • Enhance and promote standards and best practices across the organization.
  • Manage the lifecycle of application servers including IBM Websphere, Apache Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic, and others.
  • Automate the deployment of new technical components and routine administrative tasks using Ansible.
  • Evaluate and qualify J2EE applications on platforms such as Websphere, Tomcat, and MQ.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for performance enhancements, clustering solutions, and the introduction of new functionalities.
  • Conduct ongoing technological assessments to ensure optimal stability and security of systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with critical production applications.
  • Offer strategic recommendations for performance improvements and new feature implementations.
  • Design, develop, and strengthen data exchange infrastructures and Middleware application servers.

Candidate Profile / Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience in middleware technologies.
  • Proficient in application servers such as J2EE, Apache, IBM Websphere, and others.
  • Strong understanding of technical architectures.
  • Familiarity with design and production techniques in the banking industry is advantageous.

Contract Type: Freelance

Mission Duration: 3 months renewable with potential for long-term engagement.

Location: Remote opportunities available.
