Become a Part of Our Team as a Senior Technical Writer and Research Specialist at A Prentice Ray & Associates LLC

The Senior Technical Writer and Research Specialist position, reporting directly to the Division Chief, is essential to our operations. In this role, you will provide expert research and writing assistance to support the daily functions of the division.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for new initiatives and revisions;
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures and various procedural documents;
  • Perform internal audits to verify adherence to established SOPs;
  • Support financial assessments to identify and address issues;
  • Employ MS Excel skills to generate financial reports;
  • Participate in meetings and accurately record minutes;
  • Produce reports to evaluate training effectiveness;
  • Compile Weekly Activity Reports for divisional oversight;
  • Manage document control and maintain a technical resources library.
Professional Qualifications and Skills:
  • Must be a US citizen and possess or be eligible to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance;
  • Bachelor's degree with five years of relevant experience (or seven years of writing experience) required;
  • Highly organized with exceptional communication abilities;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
  • Strong skills in writing, editing, and proofreading;
  • Basic knowledge of accounting is advantageous;
  • Capable of multitasking and working independently.
