Position Summary:

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Systems Software Engineer to become a vital part of our Middleware Support team. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in systems software engineering and will be responsible for providing thorough support for Middleware COTS systems and infrastructure.

Key Duties:

  • Offer technical expertise for intricate information processing challenges.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses and studies, compile detailed reports, and present findings.
  • Design, maintain, and enhance Middleware systems and infrastructure.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and upkeep of Middleware packages across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Engage in integrated development and testing efforts to guarantee the seamless integration of application functionalities.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, teams, and developers to facilitate integration solutions tailored to specific needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in systems software engineering roles.
  • Proficient in Middleware products including WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, SiteMinder, CA Directory, Informatica, WebMethods, BOE, IBM MQ Series, QMail, and XML Gateway.
  • Strong knowledge of various operating systems such as Solaris, Linux, Mainframe, and Windows.
  • Expertise in automation and containerization tools like Ansible Tower and OpenShift.
  • Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
  • Experience in agile development environments such as Scrum or Kanban.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must fulfill requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is advantageous).
  • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) for a minimum of three years and must be compliant with Federal Tax regulations.
