Job Overview

SVD Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Security and Compliance Specialist to join its Cyber Programs division. As a Senior Security Specialist at SVD Solutions, you will play a key role in conducting annual security assessments of FISMA reportable systems to ensure their ongoing authorization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the client's Certification Program Office (CPO) requirements and priorities with staff-like access
  • Conduct FISMA Annual Security Controls Assessments (ASCAs) on designated systems
  • Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders and key meetings related to security controls
  • Prepare Assessment Plans and Security Assessment Reports based on assessment outcomes
  • Collaborate with System POCs to gather necessary data and documentation
  • Meet project deadlines and adhere to schedules
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards set by SVD and the client
Required Qualifications:
  • Must possess an Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or IT
  • Cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP) is a plus
  • Familiarity with NIST publications
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Team player with a results-driven mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
