Gray Tier Technologies is on the lookout for a Senior Cyber Forensics Specialist with an active Secret clearance to bolster our client's Security Operation Center.

The Department of the Interior (DOI) is dedicated to safeguarding America's natural resources and heritage while supporting our cultural and tribal communities. The Cyber Security Division within the DOI's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is tasked with the critical mission of defending DOI's information systems against the ever-changing landscape of cyber threats.

The Cybersecurity Branch is committed to continuously enhancing its capabilities to effectively mitigate these evolving threats. As a Senior Cyber Forensics Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Holding a Bachelor's Degree as a foundational requirement.
  • Bringing a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to the role.
  • Demonstrating expertise in computer and network forensics.
  • Conducting thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration tests across the IT infrastructure.
  • Identifying, deterring, and investigating incidents of computer and network intrusions.
  • Providing essential computer forensic support for investigations, including evidence collection, forensic analysis, and data recovery.
  • Staying abreast of the latest trends, tools, techniques, and countermeasures for identifying vulnerabilities, data concealment, and encryption.
  • Applying comprehensive knowledge to key tasks and high-impact assignments, while evaluating performance outcomes and recommending improvements for project success.
