Key Responsibilities:

The Front Office Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming patients and managing check-in and check-out processes.
  • Scheduling follow-up appointments as necessary.
  • Overseeing the overall efficiency of the front office operations.

Essential Duties:
  • Arrive punctually and maintain consistent attendance.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Collect payments and ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each shift.
  • Update patient information and manage new patient documentation.
  • Contact patients who missed appointments to reschedule.
  • Maintain task management through the designated software.
  • Ensure daily mail is processed and sent out.
  • Assist patients with follow-up appointments and provide necessary information.
  • Handle lab and diagnostic orders efficiently.
  • Conduct second confirmation calls for upcoming appointments.
  • Manage office supplies and maintain a well-organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Some bending, lifting, and stretching.
  • Manual dexterity for operating office equipment.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in a medical office setting.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with patients and colleagues.
