JOB SUMMARY:
The individual in this role will be accountable for managing the daily functions of the Front Office department, which encompasses the Front Desk and VIP Services. This position involves suggesting and executing service enhancements and monitoring financial performance within budgetary limits.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee Front Desk and VIP staff, including recruitment, training, and conflict resolution.
- Create and uphold Standard Operating Procedures for guest service excellence.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols while delivering exceptional service to guests.
- Collaborate with event coordinators and meeting planners to improve guest experiences.
- Support Sales and Marketing teams in customer loyalty initiatives through superior service.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Completion of one to two years of post-secondary education.
- One to two years of relevant work experience in a similar environment.
OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of guest relations and hotel management.
- Leadership and managerial capabilities.
- Competence in data compilation and analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Capacity to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
- Proficiency in English comprehension and tolerance for secondhand smoke.
