Clinical Project Manager for Regional Implementation & Utilization – Full Time Position

Location: Remote with Travel Requirements

Compensation: $80-$110K, based on experience.

Radiant Dev is in search of a skilled and proactive Clinical Project Manager to facilitate practice transformation through the deployment and effective use of our cutting-edge solutions. The Clinical Project Manager, Implementation & Utilization will adeptly oversee the clinical rollout process, product transitions, and customer training sessions as an essential member of the sales and customer success team. This role involves collaborating during the sales or product transition phases to strategically implement our devices and solutions, enhancing patient care initiatives and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Our organization is a rapidly growing, commercially active medical device firm dedicated to developing products and solutions that tackle significant challenges faced by healthcare systems worldwide. Our flagship product is the only FDA-cleared device available that is designed to substantially decrease false positive blood cultures, which is the standard diagnostic test for sepsis. It offers considerable clinical and financial advantages that have been thoroughly validated through extensive clinical data and peer-reviewed studies.

Role Overview

The Clinical Project Manager, Implementation & Utilization, is responsible for orchestrating the planning, execution, resource allocation, and on-site clinical training associated with customer sales implementations or product transition processes. This position requires the ability to seamlessly integrate into the sales process, fostering strong relationships while demonstrating clinical, technical, and business expertise.

This role is a hybrid position involving both travel and remote work. The Clinical Project Manager will report to the National Clinical Manager and will play a vital role in the Clinical team's development of standardized services for product implementation and tailored project plans for customers. The focus will be on customer success, project planning, and delivery.

Utilizing management experience and clinical knowledge, the Project Manager will ensure alignment with the Territory Account Manager and Business Director to achieve successful project outcomes. Regular and timely communication is essential, as the Project Manager will liaise cross-functionally with internal teams as well as key stakeholders and departmental leaders within healthcare facilities.

Project Development and Implementation Responsibilities:

  • Define and plan the clinical schedule, materials, and logistics to ensure customer success.
  • Collaborate and communicate established project plans, including timelines, resource identification, milestones, tracking, and necessary adjustments.
  • Engage in ongoing training regarding the technical, clinical, and economic value propositions of our product offerings and solutions.
  • Coordinate data collection, tracking, and reporting, integrating these into the project plan with KPIs/metrics aligned with customer and organizational goals.

Formal Planning:

  • Create comprehensive plans for project execution, ensuring all aspects are well-defined and monitored.
  • Manage assigned project resources effectively, ensuring that tasks are appropriately allocated to customer partners.
  • Prioritize requests to ensure efficient resource management.
  • Identify and secure necessary agreements and contract terms.
  • Track project performance and outcomes.

  • Captures attention and manages group dynamics during presentations.

  • Thoroughly explains content, asks probing questions, and solicits diverse opinions before taking action, when appropriate.

  • Presents relevant viewpoints clearly.

Customer Orientation:

  • Engages with internal and external customers to understand their business needs and identify underlying requirements.
  • Develops knowledge of sales enablement, customer environments, and competitive landscapes.
  • Possesses sufficient subject matter expertise to assist customers in adapting and adopting solutions.
  • Identifies obstacles and opportunities in customer needs that can be addressed with our solutions.
  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of the broader context, envisioning their role in alignment with the company's long-term objectives and strategic goals.

Structured Thinking & Organization:

  • Recognizes known issues and identifies implications, breaking them down into manageable components.
  • Utilizes prioritization to address the most relevant items effectively.
  • Develops well-structured presentations/documents tailored to the audience.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in nursing, clinical operations, medical devices, or a related field, including at least 3 years in project management and 3 years in acute or critical care settings. Medical device experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in Emergency Departments, Intensive and Critical Care, Vascular Access, Infection Prevention, or Infectious Diseases is preferred.
  • Knowledge of blood culture collection techniques and procedures is essential.
  • RN Associate degree required; BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control, and monitor project activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient project management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple timelines and tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct basic financial analysis.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
