Kept Companies stands as the premier self-performing commercial cleaning and maintenance firm across the United States. With a diverse portfolio of nine prominent brands and over 100 locations nationwide, we cater to various sectors including hospitality, renewable energy, retail, logistics, and grocery. Our expertise encompasses commercial fleet washing, retail equipment refurbishment, refrigeration services, hood and coil cleaning, solar panel maintenance, and parking lot upkeep.

This role necessitates weekly visits to operations within our Central Region (AR, TX, TN). It is primarily a field-based position, with minimal in-office hours.

COMPENSATION INCLUDES BASE SALARY PLUS INCENTIVE BONUS - COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE

The Regional Operations Manager is tasked with ensuring the safe and efficient execution of work within designated territories, serving as the crucial link between corporate headquarters and local stakeholders. This role emphasizes adherence to company policies while focusing on enhancing sales and fostering strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operational activities and implement company policies and procedures effectively.

Occasionally, the Regional Operations Manager may need to engage directly with crew members for training purposes or to provide hands-on assistance, thus a willingness to participate in manual labor tasks is essential.

Travel Requirements: 50% plus travel is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Operations Teams, overseeing scheduling, billing, jobsite quality, safety compliance, fleet management, and equipment upkeep.
  • Recruit, train, and develop new operations managers.
  • Support managers in achieving their objectives and maintaining performance standards.
  • Establish district goals aligned with regional and corporate objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance and profit and loss statements.

Essential Duties:

  • Act as a liaison between headquarters and assigned regions through regular visits and management interactions.
  • Ensure operational practices are efficient, meeting revenue and sales targets.
  • Coordinate activities, provide reports, and make strategic recommendations to senior management to enhance market share, improve customer satisfaction, and drive growth.
  • Guarantee that each operational area delivers exceptional value and service to clients.
  • Develop and nurture a committed team of area managers to maintain profitability and execute business strategies.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered profitably and adhere to best practices.
  • Implement innovative strategies to stay competitive in the market.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or MBA in Business Administration.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a service-oriented business.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and capable of learning internal software systems.
  • Experience with Power BI is preferred.
  • Knowledge in Transportation Planning and Fleet Management is required.
  • Expertise in Project Management, Profit & Loss analysis, and Supply Chain Management is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in district management within a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and analytical thinking.
  • Knowledge of business development and strategy execution.
  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven ability to drive growth and manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
