Clinical Implementation Specialist - 6 Month Contract to Hire

Location: Remote with Travel Requirements

Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.

Employment Type: Must be eligible to work as a W2 employee without sponsorship.

Radiant Dev is in search of a skilled and proactive Clinical Implementation Specialist to facilitate practice transformation through the deployment and effective use of our cutting-edge solutions. This role is pivotal in leading the clinical implementation process, managing product transitions, and conducting customer training sessions as an essential member of the sales and customer success teams. The Clinical Implementation Specialist will collaborate during the sales or product transition phases to strategically introduce our devices and solutions, enhancing patient care initiatives and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Radiant Dev is an innovative, growth-oriented medical device firm dedicated to developing products and solutions that tackle significant challenges faced by healthcare systems worldwide. Our flagship product is the only FDA-cleared device designed to markedly decrease false positive blood cultures, which is the standard blood test for sepsis. It provides substantial clinical and financial benefits, thoroughly validated by extensive clinical data and peer-reviewed studies.

Role Overview

The Clinical Implementation Specialist will be responsible for orchestrating the planning, execution, resource allocation, and on-site clinical training during the customer sales implementation or product transition process. This position requires the ability to seamlessly integrate into the sales framework, fostering strong relationships while demonstrating clinical, technical, and business expertise.

This role involves a combination of travel and remote work. Reporting to the National Clinical Manager, the Clinical Implementation Specialist will contribute to the development of standardized services for product implementation and conversion, as well as tailored project plans for customers. The focus will be on customer success, project planning, and execution.

Utilizing management experience and clinical knowledge, the Clinical Implementation Specialist will ensure alignment with the Territory Account Manager and Business Director to achieve successful project outcomes. Regular and timely communication is essential, as is the ability to liaise across functions with internal teams and key hospital stakeholders.

Project Development and Implementation Responsibilities:

  • Define and organize the clinical schedule, materials, and logistics to ensure customer success.
  • Collaborate and communicate established project plans, including timelines, resource identification, milestones, and necessary adjustments.
  • Engage in ongoing training regarding the technical, clinical, and economic value propositions of our product offerings.
  • Coordinate data collection, tracking, and reporting, integrating these into the project plan with KPIs and metrics aligned with customer and organizational goals.

Formal Planning:

  • Create comprehensive plans for project execution, ensuring clarity and tracking of all components.
  • Manage project resources effectively, ensuring tasks are appropriately assigned to customer partners.
  • Prioritize requests to facilitate efficient resource management.
  • Ensure that all necessary agreements and contract terms are executed.
  • Track project performance and outcomes.

  • Identifies obstacles and opportunities in customer needs that can be addressed with our solutions.
  • Maintains a comprehensive view of their role in the context of the company's long-term objectives and strategic goals.

Structured Thinking & Organization:

  • Recognizes known issues and identifies implications, breaking them down into manageable components.
  • Utilizes prioritization to address the most relevant tasks.
  • Creates well-structured presentations/documents tailored to the audience.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in nursing, clinical operations, medical devices, or related fields, including at least 3 years in project management and 3 years in acute or critical care settings. Medical device experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in Emergency Departments, Intensive and Critical Care, Vascular Access, Infection Prevention, or Infectious Diseases is preferred.
  • Knowledge of blood culture collection techniques and procedures.
  • RN Associate degree required; BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control, and monitor project activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple timelines and tasks effectively.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Basic financial analysis skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
