Become a Key Player as a Financial Operations Assistant

Are you meticulous and enthusiastic about finance? Serve the People CHC is seeking a Financial Operations Assistant to enhance our financial team and assist in our operational tasks. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring precise financial documentation and working alongside various teams within our healthcare organization. This position provides a chance to acquire significant experience in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication between various segments of the finance department
  • Assist in bookkeeping and contribute to financial reporting
  • Oversee Grant Accounts and ensure accuracy in General Ledger reconciliations
  • Evaluate financial performance and suggest areas for enhancement
  • Work with internal teams to uphold adherence to financial regulations
  • Prepare essential financial documents and tax submissions
  • Manage tasks related to accounts payable and receivable
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and support during Annual Audits
  • Execute additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a financial setting
  • Experience in a community health center or similar organization is advantageous
  • Proficient in QuickBooks desktop and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and analytical skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and analytical abilities
