Key Responsibilities
- Full-time position responsible for managing all projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
- Serve as the administrative lead for all awarded projects.
- Become adept with our online project management and scheduling tools.
- Coordinate job scheduling, including workforce allocation, material procurement, and client communication.
- Monitor project costs and completion timelines.
- Oversee progress billing and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Supervise a team of five office staff, including a bookkeeper, warehouse personnel, receptionist, sales assistant, and field operations manager.
- Track profit and loss for all projects.
- Manage employee schedules, including leave and vacation requests.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing a construction office.
- A degree in business or construction management is preferred, or equivalent experience (10 years).
- Experience with QuickBooks for progress billing, purchase orders, change orders, and job costing.
- Familiarity with timecard tracking systems, utilizing an external HR and payroll service.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and other office software applications.
- Essential knowledge of cloud storage and file management systems.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and timely task completion.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to delegate effectively and resolve conflicts.
About Foundation Technology
We are a small yet dynamic office based in Santa Clarita, comprising five office staff and fifteen full-time field employees. We value a collaborative work environment and seek an individual who thrives in a close-knit office setting and possesses exceptional organizational skills. Our benefits include five days of vacation, five sick days, and paid holidays. Our office operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, and maintains a non-smoking policy.
Compensation Package
- Salary range up to $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
- One week of paid vacation accrued annually.
- Five paid sick or personal days, along with paid holidays.
