Job Overview

CH Premier Jewelers is a leading luxury retailer in the California Bay Area's Silicon Valley, offering an extensive selection of high-end jewelry, watches, and gifts. We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and timely inventory counts, and resolve discrepancies in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate the movement of products, including shipments from external brands, internal transfers, and store inventory, in compliance with quality controls and efficiency standards.
  • E-commerce and Customer Service: Manage online orders, respond to customer inquiries, and provide exceptional after-sales service, ensuring seamless client experiences.
  • Financial Management: Close out daily batches, complete bookkeeping procedures, and maintain accurate records of cash, tax exemptions, wires, and financing transactions.
Operational Excellence
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance operational workflows, recommending tools and strategies to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Compliance and Governance: Implement and enforce store policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance among team members.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with Client Specialists and management to optimize sales opportunities, providing exceptional support to clients.
  • Event Management: Assist in planning and executing in-store events and activations, working closely with Marketing and store management.
  • Administrative Support: Manage back-office operations, order supplies, and maintain store facilities.
  • Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store's visual elements are accurate and complete, reporting any discrepancies to store leadership.
  • Performance Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct business reviews with store management and brands, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in retail, hospitality, or operations roles.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong client satisfaction skills, and excellent interpersonal competencies.
  • Education: Graduate gemologist degree or previous Gemological Institute of America (GIA) course work preferred.
