About Us:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Finance Operations Manager to become a key member of our dedicated Finance team. This is a remarkable opportunity for a professional with extensive experience in finance, budgeting, and ledger management. The successful candidate will have a solid history of managing financial operations and contributing to strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and direct the general ledger along with the preparation of financial reports.
2.

Create and uphold timely and precise financial statements and reports that comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

3.

Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations of the organization, including Charitable Status, Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Employer Health Tax.

4.

Prepare all necessary documentation for the annual audit and coordinate with the Board's Audit Committee and external auditors as required.

5. Maintain comprehensive and accurate supporting documentation for all financial transactions.
6.

Establish and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the security and compliance of personnel and financial information with current legislation.

7. Manage the procurement of capital assets, ensuring proper recording, amortization, and disposal as necessary.
8. Assist in formulating the annual budget and forecasts.
9. Oversee cash flow management and prepare cash flow projections in line with policy.
10. Supervise the bookkeeping functions, including the maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
11.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and compliance of personnel and financial information with current legislation.


Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is preferred.
3. A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within the finance sector.
4. Proficient in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
5. Strong grasp of budgeting processes and general ledger functionalities.
6. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
7. Strong analytical skills and the capacity to make informed decisions based on timely and accurate information.
8. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
9. Strong work ethic and the ability to thrive under pressure.
10. Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
