Position Summary
We are in search of a qualified and seasoned Operations Manager to lead our security operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security management. Your contributions will include formulating the company’s security policies and procedures while supervising designated security staff. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership capabilities and possess substantial experience in the security sector. We seek dedicated, motivated, and driven professionals willing to work evenings, overnights, and weekends as required. A minimum of three years of relevant security experience is essential.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
  • DC SPO Commission
  • Maryland Guard Card
  • Department of Criminal Justice Service Card
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute safety and security policies and procedures
  • Assist in the development and oversight of the security operations budget
  • Recruit, train, and manage security personnel
  • Assess the security requirements of the organization
  • Establish and enforce security protocols for specific events
  • Analyze incident reports generated by security staff
  • Address security breaches or incidents effectively
  • Collect timesheets to ensure accurate payroll processing
  • Engage with clients professionally to ensure satisfaction with services
  • Conduct security post inspections to ensure compliance within designated areas
Required Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Security Manager or in a comparable position
  • Knowledge of security technology and equipment (cameras, alarms, etc.)
  • Understanding of best practices in security management
  • Experience in emergency response planning
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • High integrity and ethical standards
  • Exceptional leadership abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
