Job Overview
We are in search of a skilled and seasoned Operations Manager to lead our security initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will manage all aspects of security operations, contribute to the formulation of security policies and procedures, and oversee assigned security staff. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with substantial experience in the safety and security sector. We seek diligent, motivated, and driven professionals willing to work evenings, overnights, and weekends as required. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of relevant security experience.

Eligibility Criteria
  • DC SPO Commission
  • Maryland Guard Card
  • Department of Criminal Justice Service Card
Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and enforce safety and security policies and procedures
  • Assist in the development and oversight of the security operations budget
  • Recruit, train, and manage security personnel
  • Assess the security requirements of the organization
  • Design and implement security protocols for specific events
  • Evaluate incident reports generated by security staff
  • Address security breaches or incidents
  • Collect timesheets to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Engage with clients professionally to ensure satisfaction with services
  • Conduct security post checks to ensure compliance within designated areas
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Security Manager or in a comparable position
  • Familiarity with security technologies and equipment (cameras, alarms, etc.)
  • Knowledge of best practices in security protocols
  • Experience in emergency response planning
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • High level of integrity
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
