Job Description

Allied Universal Services is seeking candidates for the role of an

Armed Security Operations Supervisor.

We are currently hiring Armed Site Supervisors with an active Armed DC SPO certification.

Key qualifications include:
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license

The
Armed Security Operations Supervisor
will oversee and coordinate the provision of high-quality services to designated clients. This role will serve as a liaison among clients, Operations Managers, and security personnel. Responsibilities include supervising site staff and providing coaching, recognition, and disciplinary actions within authorized limits.


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the public
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations, and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening is a condition of employment
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific locations
  • Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and efficiently
  • Proficient in using scheduling and billing software to generate reports that require interpretation and action for effective business management
  • Communicate staffing needs to the Operations Manager, which may involve using the requisition process and assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates
  • Ensure that security personnel receive appropriate training, developing both technical and professional skills, including performance management (coaching, counseling, discipline, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
  • Address employee grievances with support from the appropriate HR personnel

Able to:
  • Work in various environmental conditions such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shifts
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods
