K&T Security is a premier provider of protective services, dedicated to safeguarding the properties and personnel of our clients. We are currently in search of a dependable and committed Overnight Security Officer to oversee the safety of our designated area during the night shift.

Role Summary:
As an Overnight Security Officer, you will be instrumental in ensuring a secure atmosphere for individuals and assets during the night hours. Your responsibilities will encompass monitoring access points, performing routine patrols, documenting incidents, and responding to emergencies. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to remain composed in high-pressure situations.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee and regulate access to the premises.
  • Conduct frequent patrols to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports of security incidents.
  • Engage effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.
  • Assist in emergency situations and crisis management.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all individuals on site.
  • Enforce institutional policies and guidelines.
  • Perform regular inspections and rounds.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Maryland security officer license or readiness to obtain one.
  • Availability for night shifts primarily from 11 PM to 9 AM.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended durations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to document incidents accurately.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in managing stressful situations with professionalism.
  • Previous experience in security or educational environments is preferred.
