Position OverviewThis role is a critical member of our regional team, responsible for achieving and surpassing volume growth goals for assigned regions. The Regional Business Development Manager will work closely with our SVP of Marketing, regional leadership, JV Partner, local physicians, service providers, and community leaders to identify volume growth opportunities, understand competitive dynamics, and create strategies to exceed annual goals.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate win-win relationships with key referral sources to drive patient volume within assigned facilities.
- Support the development and execution of programs to engage with prospective and current patients to generate additional referrals.
- Act as a brand ambassador and community liaison to build reputation and connection with the communities we serve.
- Work collaboratively with our corporate brand team to execute local marketing campaigns.
- Successfully execute product launches to meet regional goals.
- Gather, assimilate, and analyze market and competitive information to ensure local marketing activities are effective and efficient.
- Act as marketing liaison to regional staff.
- Facilitate and grow relationships with hospital partner staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration (or equivalent experience).
- Clinical training with appropriate certifications and work experience in the healthcare industry (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of sales, business development, or field marketing experience with direct responsibility for meeting sales goals (preferably in healthcare).
- Demonstrated customer service skills experience.
- Ability to interpret and disseminate information, including key information about changes in the marketplace and patient utilization patterns.
- Demonstrated expertise in using consultative sales models.
- Experience in making presentations and public speaking.
- Experience in crafting proposals to garner business and/or solidify relationships.
- Healthcare knowledge and experience (preferred).
- Fluency in English, written and oral communication.
