Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Safety Coordinator to join our team at Kodiak Labor Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and clients on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular site audits to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures, protocols, and best practices, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate and document incidents, near-misses, and accidents, providing recommendations for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Workers' Compensation and First Aid: Manage workers' compensation claims, administer first aid and CPR training, and ensure timely and effective response to on-site medical emergencies.
  • Project Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to ensure seamless project execution, effective communication, and timely issue resolution.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices, identifying and mitigating potential risks and liabilities.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in construction safety or a related field, with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Certifications and Training: OSHA 30 certification, first aid and CPR training, and experience with safety management software and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Emergency Response Training: Current certification in emergency response, including first aid, CPR, and AED.
  • Industry Knowledge and Experience: Working knowledge of industry-specific safety regulations, standards, and best practices, including fall protection, scaffolding, excavation, confined space, and crane operations.
