The Lead Construction Supervisor is tasked with assisting the General Superintendent in managing various operational segments of a construction initiative. This role may involve coordinating and scheduling several construction teams, assessing construction needs, strategizing procedures, and ensuring that subcontracted work adheres to specified standards. Additionally, the position includes participating in the evaluation of work and equipment to confirm safety measures and compliance with project operational standards. Frequent travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct daily field operational targets, timelines, and objectives. Ensure job site safety by actively monitoring the site, engaging in inspections, training sessions, and regular meetings with staff and subcontractors. Track the overall advancement of a project and work environment, reviewing processes and practices within teams to guarantee consistency, efficiency, and quality outcomes. Engage in monitoring the project timeline and budget, collaborating with Senior Superintendents for updates. Work with subcontractors to develop recovery strategies when necessary, and meet regularly with staff and subcontractors to address progress, challenges, and assist in overcoming obstacles to project completion. Analyze construction documents to ascertain construction needs or to devise procedures. Document and maintain records, generating reports such as personnel, production, project logs, status updates, and other operational data.Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification. 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent on construction projects or at least 1 year as a Senior Superintendent in the healthcare sector. Proficient knowledge of scheduling, cost management, and safety protocols. Familiarity with various construction trades, including but not limited to carpentry, concrete work, structural steel, and interior renovations. Proven experience in managing performance and leading a diverse field team. Basic computer skills (MS Office). Valid Driver's License.Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Vision: Ability to see within the normal visual range, with or without correction.
Hearing: Ability to hear within the normal audio range, with or without correction.
