The Lead Construction Supervisor is tasked with assisting the General Superintendent in managing various operational facets of a construction initiative. This role may involve coordinating and scheduling multiple construction teams, assessing construction needs, planning methodologies, and ensuring that subcontracted work adheres to the necessary specifications. Additionally, the position will engage in the inspection of work and equipment to confirm safety and compliance with project operational standards. Frequent travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct daily field operational goals, timelines, and objectives. Ensure job site safety by actively monitoring the site, participating in inspections, and conducting regular training and meetings with staff and subcontractors. Evaluate the overall progress of projects and work sites, reviewing processes and practices within teams to guarantee consistency, efficiency, and quality of output. Contribute to the oversight of project schedules and budgets, collaborating with Senior Superintendents for maintenance and updates. Work with subcontractors to develop recovery plans when necessary, and meet regularly with staff and subcontractors to address progress, challenges, and facilitate the removal of obstacles to project completion. Analyze construction documents to identify construction requirements and plan procedures accordingly. Document and maintain information, producing reports such as personnel records, production logs, project statuses, and other operational data.Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent on construction projects, or at least 1 year as a Senior Superintendent in the healthcare sector. Proficient knowledge of scheduling, cost management, and safety protocols. Familiarity with various construction trades, including carpentry, concrete work, structural steel, and interior renovations. Proven experience in managing performance and leading a diverse field team. Basic computer skills (MS Office). Valid Driver's License.Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Vision: Ability to see within the normal visual range, with or without correction.
Hearing: Ability to hear within the normal audio range, with or without correction.
