Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Administrator to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Project Management team in overseeing and documenting various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and management of construction activities across multiple projects.
  • Support the Project Manager in coordinating pre-construction and onsite management tasks.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, and project plans.
  • Track and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), Change Orders, and other critical project communications.
  • Prepare and submit work orders and purchase orders as directed by senior staff.
  • Monitor project expenses and assist in budget tracking.
  • Ensure accurate reporting by reviewing daily project reports for clarity and precision.
  • Collaborate with team members and subcontractors to facilitate effective project execution.
  • Promote safety and assist in implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, and familiar with project management software.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Subcontractor Coordination:

  • Maintain effective communication with subcontractors to ensure project success.
  • Work with project managers to address any performance issues with subcontractors promptly.

Project Completion:

  • Assist in gathering all necessary documentation for project closeout.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to finalize all financial aspects of the project.
