Company Background: Gallagher Construction Services is in search of a driven, proactive individual to become part of our esteemed construction team. We specialize in construction management for publicly funded initiatives. This role will focus on project oversight and engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities will vary based on project needs but will typically align with construction management duties.
  • Supervise, manage, and guide the Project Engineer, when necessary.
  • Develop, monitor, and revise progress schedules.
  • Maintain daily logs as required.
  • Handle and track submittal packages.
  • Process Contract Change Orders and maintain an updated Change Order log.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with other members of the project team.
  • Manage and track Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Oversee and update project logs.
  • Coordinate vendors with field contractors.
  • Assist in managing the bidding process with contractors.
  • Process and track Contractor Contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of general construction practices, processes, and tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with diverse personality types.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage complex tasks involving multiple parties to ensure timely completion.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook; familiarity with Primavera/Expedition/Submittal Exchange is advantageous.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
