Position Overview:

Syntagma Group is looking for a dedicated Human Resources Manager who will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of human resources within our organization. This position involves strategic resource planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) with managerial and administrative tasks.
  • Regularly assess and propose enhancements to existing HR policies and practices.
  • Oversee comprehensive recruiting, hiring, and retention strategies in alignment with applicable regulations.
  • Evaluate staffing requirements and monitor industry-standard staffing metrics.
  • Supervise non-exempt staff, including administrative and clerical personnel, ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing and resolving workplace conflicts effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements regarding leave of absence requests.
  • Collaborate with the CHRO and Payroll and Benefits Coordinator on all employee benefit programs, including retirement plans.
  • Maintain current job descriptions for support roles and ensure timely performance evaluations.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new legal professionals joining the firm.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or PHR are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a legal or professional services context.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a proven ability to address complex challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on effective communication and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
