As a Senior Human Resources Strategist, your duties will encompass various departments, as the position involves forward-thinking development processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Management and Development
- Design and implement employee engagement strategies to boost overall job satisfaction.
- Promote positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a healthy workplace.
- Collaborate with leadership to provide support and guidance on complex and sensitive HR issues.
- Facilitate communication between management and employees to address grievances and demands.
- Review and enhance the evaluation framework and related tools to align with the company’s business strategy.
- Conduct training sessions for employees to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Regularly assess the evaluation structure and update tools and regulations as necessary.
Training and Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development initiatives for staff.
- Encourage ongoing learning and skill enhancement, particularly for supervisory and managerial roles.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements set by federal and state regulations.
Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement the hiring process and criteria for evaluating candidates.
- Work closely with administrative representatives on the complete hiring cycle.
- Stay informed on HR trends and best practices to attract and retain top talent.
HR Policies and Compliance
- Create, implement, and enforce HR policies to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in labor laws to update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Maintain the Employee Handbook and ensure it is current.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide management with decision support through HR metrics.
- Seek continuous improvement in work processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
- Uphold high ethical standards in the workplace.
- Maintain effective communication with management and staff.
- Align HR strategies with parent and affiliated companies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate-level Human Resource Management or related fields.
- 1-2 years of experience in employee training and engagement planning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ethical approach.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with federal and state labor laws.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Project Management experience is a plus.
SKILLS:
- Proficient in English: able to read, write, and speak at a business level.
- Strong organizational and self-motivation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of change management principles.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position allows for remote work with occasional on-site requirements. Occasional business travel may be necessary.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is conducted in a home office setting, requiring the ability to operate standard office equipment and engage in verbal communication.
