**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement comprehensive human resources strategies to support the Department's mission and goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of human resources professionals to provide expert advice and guidance on personnel matters.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to human resources, including recruitment, selection, training, and employee development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment of human resources initiatives with the Department's strategic objectives.
  • Provide guidance on labor relations, collective bargaining, and employee relations.
  • Develop and manage budgets for human resources programs and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to human resources.

**Requirements**

  • Masters degree in Public Administration, Personnel Administration, Business Administration, Human Services, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in human resources, with at least 18 months in an administrative, managerial, or executive capacity.
  • Or, a baccalaureate degree with seven years of experience in human resources, with at least 18 months in an administrative, managerial, or executive capacity.
  • Or, a high school diploma with eleven years of experience in human resources, with at least 18 months in an administrative, managerial, or executive capacity.
