Position: PMO Analyst II

Work Schedule: Day Shift

Department: Project Management Office (PMO)

Summary: We are thrilled to unveil our state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery production facility, which will play a crucial role in the evolution of sustainable energy solutions. If you are eager to contribute to a greener future and be part of a collaborative team driving the electric vehicle transformation, this role is designed for you. We are looking for committed professionals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new facility.

Job Overview: Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is actively seeking a bilingual PMO Analyst II who possesses strong analytical skills, a desire to learn, and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders. In this position, you will collaborate with project teams to collect, analyze, and track project data, prepare and compile project reports, assist with documentation, and manage program communications.

You will be expected to excel and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment, engaging with all levels of the organization. Effective prioritization of multiple project management tasks, risk management, and systematic delivery of results using project management methodologies and tools will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze project data, collaborating with teams to address any challenges.
  • Support the documentation and management of PMO processes.
  • Assist project managers and team leaders in consolidating project status reports for executive review.
  • Organize and facilitate weekly meetings.
  • Onboard and train new team members on PMO processes and expectations.
  • Develop and manage cross-program communications.
  • Provide translation services between Japanese and English in both written and verbal formats.
  • Translate technical and non-technical documents, including policies and manuals, as required.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • To ensure workplace safety, wearing PPE may be necessary, including items such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and respiratory protection.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Preferred: None

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a PMO analyst role or similar capacity.
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with technical and non-technical audiences in Japanese and English.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible, capable of thriving in ambiguous situations.
  • Strategic planner with a natural inclination for organization.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong program coordination and administrative skills.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Maintain the Program SharePoint site.
  • Proactively manage issues, risks, and scope changes, escalating as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management or consulting as a PMO analyst in a fast-paced, global organization.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience collaborating with teams across different time zones.
  • Passion for Project/Program/Portfolio Management.
  • Experience with online collaboration and facilitation tools.
