Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + Commission
On-Target Earnings: $200K - $300K

Position Overview:
We are in search of a motivated and seasoned Regional Sales Manager specializing in Automation Solutions to enhance our expanding team. This role presents a unique chance to lead sales and business development efforts within a specified region, concentrating on our automation offerings. The ideal candidate will possess strategic insight and a solid background in manufacturing solutions sales, particularly in automation technologies. They should demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and numerical proficiency, enabling them to accurately forecast sales and analyze market trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Formulate and execute strategic sales initiatives aligned with corporate objectives in the region.
  2. Oversee sales forecasting processes and establish performance benchmarks.
  3. Conduct market analysis to identify customer requirements and sales potential, implementing strategies to broaden market reach.
  4. Deliver compelling sales presentations to key clients in collaboration with sales representatives.
  5. Engage with major clients, supporting sales representatives in nurturing relationships and finalizing agreements.
  6. Facilitate communication between the sales and engineering teams.
  7. Monitor and manage departmental expenditures to adhere to budgetary constraints.
  8. Represent the organization at industry trade events to promote our products and solutions.
  9. Compile regular sales reports detailing sales performance, potential opportunities, and proposed client base expansion.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing solutions sales, with a focus on automation.
  3. Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, with the capability to interpret and convey technical concepts.
  4. Strong sales forecasting skills and experience in developing sales territories.
  5. Excellent numerical abilities, capable of calculating discounts, commissions, and percentages.
  6. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  7. Proven track record of establishing and maintaining robust customer relationships.
  8. Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  9. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
