Position Summary: We are in search of a skilled and innovative Director of Product Marketing to spearhead our product marketing strategy and its execution. This pivotal role will involve defining and driving our market entry strategy, positioning, and messaging to ensure the successful launch and adoption of our offerings. The Director will work closely with various teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to ensure cohesive efforts that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Direction:
- Formulate and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies aimed at enhancing market adoption and growth.
- Guide and mentor the product marketing team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure product marketing initiatives align with the company’s objectives.
- Market Entry Strategy:
- Develop and implement go-to-market plans for new product launches, ensuring effective market entry and customer engagement.
- Create and articulate compelling product positioning and messaging that distinguishes Zoovu in the marketplace.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product marketing strategies.
- Collaborative Efforts:
- Engage closely with product management to ensure product development aligns with market demands and customer expectations.
- Work alongside the sales team to produce sales enablement materials, including presentations and product demonstrations.
- Partner with the customer success team to gather insights and feedback to continuously enhance product offerings and messaging.
- Collaborate with the Brand and Content team to develop impactful marketing materials, including whitepapers and case studies.
- Team up with Growth marketing to create and implement integrated marketing campaigns that drive product awareness and lead generation.
- Leverage digital marketing channels to effectively reach target audiences and achieve product marketing objectives.
- Sales Support:
- Establish and maintain a robust sales enablement strategy to equip the sales team with necessary tools and resources.
- Create and manage a repository of sales enablement materials, such as product guides and competitive analysis.
- Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to ensure comprehensive understanding of product features and benefits.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify knowledge gaps and develop targeted training programs.
- Performance Evaluation:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of product marketing initiatives.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine marketing efforts and promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline; MBA is preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in product marketing, demonstrating a successful track record in leading go-to-market strategies.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- In-depth understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies.
- Robust analytical skills to leverage data for informed decision-making.
- Experience in the SaaS or technology sector is highly desirable.
