Position Overview:
Under the guidance of the Senior Director of Market Development, the Facilities Operations Supervisor is tasked with managing the facility and asset portfolio while ensuring the seamless operation of our dental practices. This role necessitates the ability to evaluate, suggest, and coordinate ongoing facility and asset strategies. Occasional travel may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe, clean, and inviting environment for both patients and staff.
  • Oversee maintenance and upgrades of facilities and assets.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination of minor projects and investments with Regional Directors of Operations, Doctor Mentors, Practice Doctors, Managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Engage with landlords and external partners effectively.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of facility documents.
  • Ensure compliance with AAAHC Accreditation documentation.
  • Implement facility and equipment standards consistently.
  • Adapt work hours to meet the demands of practices and projects, including potential evening and weekend work.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

  • Analytical skills to assess costs and other relevant data.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum requirement of a vocational or technical school diploma.
  • At least 5 years of relevant field experience.
  • Experience in healthcare facilities is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of construction is a plus.
  • Familiarity with dental equipment is beneficial but not essential.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required.

Physical Requirements:

  • The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, sitting, bending, and using hands for various tasks. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Schedule:
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
