Our client is currently seeking an Assistant Facilities ManagerResource's typical working day:
Develop and maintain positive relationships with the greater
facilities and operations team. This includes but is not limited to
vivarium operations, lab managers, union technicians, and third-party
service providers.
Oversees and/or coordinates maintenance/repair work assignments
performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors performing building
maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial work.
Respond to client inquiries and concerns. Ensures timely and quality
service delivery to clients. Follows up with clients to ensure customer
satisfaction.
Performs facilities inspections and prepares reports.
May coordinate and manage move, add, and change activities.
Assists in the preparation of operating and capital budgets.
Manages vendor relationships and trains vendors on work orders and
billing procedures. Processes invoices and ensures proper cost center
coding.
Reviews periodic reports including financials and explains variances.
Works with the finance team to correct errors.
Uses PC and/or mobile phone for work order system, email, process,
and procedure training.
Years of Experience needed: 2+ Years of project management or facilities management in regulated environments such as hospital/ healthcare, life sciences/ pharmaceutical, and/or other critical environments.
Level of Education: H.S Diploma
Systems/Software proficiencies: Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use a work order system.

Demonstrate leadership
Responsiveness
Strong in creating service solutions.
Top Nice to have Skills: Previous experience with vendor/work order management preferred.
