Develop manuals, directives, or standard operating procedures (SOPs) needed to manage administrative operations (reports, personnel management, records management, travel, supply, etc.) in support of an organizational unit. Conduct detailed analysis of mission requirements in order to develop travel options consistent with regulatory provisions (e.g., Joint Travel Regulation, Defense Travel System guidance). Operate a supply management program that includes a variety of expendable and nonexpendable items and material through central supply channels, direct purchase, and formal procurement processes. Operate automated systems needed to monitor and track employee travel, training, payroll requests (e.g., Defense Travel System, Civilian Human Resources Training Application Service (CHRTAS), etc.) Manage multiple day-to-day and long-range calendars in a complex, fast-paced work environment subject to constantly changing requirements Coordinate a variety of social functions to include luncheons, dinners, receptions and/or military ceremonies to support organizational missions and goals. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Manages and Organizes Information Partnering Problem Solving Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
