for the
Office of Services Review,
within the
Division of
Continuous Quality & Improvement.
Under the
direction of the office director, the project specialist is responsible for planning, leading and organizing multiple projects to achieve a high level of performance and quality.
The project specialist will be responsible for managing and tracking various projects that will support the mission of the office and will participate in planning and coordination meetings involving the development and implementation of projects. This position will, at times, play a consultative role to help coordinate the appropriate people, process, and tools needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team. May provide team coaching and consultation as needed. They will also develop systems to track projects and deadlines to help monitor project activity.

Plans and manages projects and programs. Writes and consults on project and program plans, recommendations and findings.
Collaborates with project stakeholders to design project scope, goal, and deliverables.
Develops detailed project plans, outlines tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
Provides office project consultation, makes recommendations, gives appropriate advice and facilitates decisions.
Develops approaches for implementation of an idea, program, or change in operations.
Exercises initiative, discretion, and judgment in making decisions
Tracks administrative hearings as needed for investigation cases. Maintains needed documentation and notifies appropriate parties of any administrative hearing.

Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
This position is currently a hybrid of both in-office and remote work days. Please note, a position's eligibility for remote work is established by agency management and is subject to change at their discretion at any time and for any reason.
This is a time limited (schedule TL) position that may convert to a competitive career service (schedule B) on a later date.
