Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator at Salt Lake Bouldering Project plays a vital role in cultivating community engagement both online and offline. This individual is a skilled communicator and community builder, adept at crafting messages that resonate with diverse audiences, particularly through social media and email outreach.

Key Responsibilities
1. **Membership Growth**: Develop and implement strategies for customer acquisition and retention utilizing our expanding contact database and CRM system.
2. **Community Integration**: Foster connections within the local community through grassroots marketing initiatives, including event participation and partnerships with schools, non-profits, and local businesses.
3. **Marketing Plans**: Collaborate with the leadership team to create and execute marketing strategies for events, products, classes, and workshops.
4. **Content Creation**: Produce and distribute marketing materials, including social media content, print collateral, and community newsletters.
5. **Social Media Strategy**: Lead the social media efforts for Salt Lake Bouldering Project, focusing on content creation and performance analysis.
6. **Information Management**: Ensure the accuracy of information across various communication channels, including the website and promotional materials.
7. **Data Analysis**: Review marketing data to identify areas for improvement and make strategic recommendations.
8. **Collaboration**: Work closely with the corporate marketing team to support the execution of company-wide initiatives.
9. **Community Connection**: Engage with local climbers, staff, and community members to enhance interest and participation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, with a focus on social media and email marketing.
- Proven experience in community building and event planning.
- Availability for evening and weekend events.
- Strong collaboration skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Personable and enthusiastic about engaging with new individuals and groups.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and capable of leading initiatives without direct supervision.
- Passion for climbing and involvement in the local climbing community is a plus.
- Commitment to a part-time schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
