The Temporary Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support to university recruiting efforts by working closely with the Recruiters to ensure that all positions are filled in the appropriate time frame. They will schedule, coordinate, and facilitate the interviewing process. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator contributes to the accomplishment of recruiting practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes professionalism, strict confidentiality, productivity and standards, objectivity, and responsiveness/customer service.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the effective administration and coordination of employee recruiting and selection process
  • Schedules complex interview panels with Senior Stakeholders across the organization
  • Greet and accompany candidates to appropriate conference room (s) for on-site interviews, as needed
  • Contributes to the Candidate Experience by providing exceptional communication along with a seamless interview process
  • Advance the internal and external Talent Brand through interaction with stakeholder and candidates
  • Respond in a timely manner to requests from Talent Partner, Stakeholder, and Candidates
  • Assists with recruiting and Staffing logistics such as preparing and posting job advertisements
  • Assist Recruiters in paper-screening of applications as needed
  • Participate in process and procedure enhancements in alignment with Talent strategic initiatives
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years' administrative office experience
  • Proficient of Microsoft Office tools and web conferencing technologies: Outlook, Teams, Webex
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with using recruiting tools (Workday preferred)

The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Pay Range: $21.87 - $31.68
