  • Use expertise to develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Build a candidate pipeline for key positions and maintain regular contact with potential future candidates.
  • Manage high volume of recruiting assignments in multiple geographical locations in a fast paced, competitive environment
  • Create job postings that are professional, articulate, and attention-grabbing to attract the right candidates, posting these ads on various online and offline resources.
  • Perform full life cycle recruiting from sourcing candidates to facilitating pre-employment screening
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities in relation to position requirements
  • Support hiring managers by contacting potential candidates, completing reference checks, and coordinate with HR to schedule interviews
  • Maintain timely accurate documentation of personnel requisitions and applications ensuring the applicant tracking system is current
  • Serve as the liaison between the company and the candidates by handling phone calls, questions, and other details before and after interviews.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with Operations leadership and hiring managers to communicate status of requisitions.

Job Requirements

Educational Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree desired.
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years' experience in sourcing and recruiting in a military and federal government contracting environment. Experience as a DoD and/or Government contracts recruiter required.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Indeed and Taleo applicant system.
  • Experience with recruiting wide range of employees to include technical, engineering, analysts and SCA employees
  • Proven ability with internet recruiting navigation, on-line sourcing, and recruiting methods
  • Organized, extremely detail oriented, dependable, flexible and have the ability to collaborate with team members and customers
  • Experience in sourcing, networking, development, negotiating, and closing of potential candidates
  • Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of candidates, employees and management
  • Ability to engage and build effective relationships
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to take initiative and look beyond traditional recruiting practices with an innovative approach
  • Manage multiple tasks, projects, and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Due to the nature of the work and programs supported, must be a U.S. Citizen at time of hire.

  • Familiarity with military and veteran hiring communities
  • Work independently and as a part of a team
  • Results oriented, process driven with strong organizational and communication skills
