Patomak is seeking to hire an HR Administration Coordinator in our Washington, D.C. office. This individual will play an integral role in supporting the success of Patomak by providing a variety of back-office tasks to support our Chief Administrative Officer in human resources and financial management. Overview of Job Duties: HR Administration: Keeping employee files updated. Management of offer letters and Statement of Work agreements. Onboarding and offboarding of employees and contractors. Point of contact for the (outsourced) payroll and benefits administrator. Point of contact on payroll and benefits issues for employees. Point of contact on all non-invoice related questions for contractors. Ensuring an effective performance review and goals setting process. Tracking, controlling, and approving expense reimbursements. Reviewing and reporting on time entries into the company’s time management software. Supporting Chief Administrative Officer and Chief of Staff on developing and analyzing operational and financial reports. Assisting both the Accounting Manager and the Billing Operations Coordinator. Skills and Desired Qualifications: Strong familiarity with payroll and benefits administration. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. High degree of adaptability and an all-hands-on-deck mentality, benefiting a collaborative work environment. Results-oriented. Keen attention to detail. Basic IT knowledge. Positive attitude and desire to learn. Familiarity with Sage and BigTime a plus. Familiarity with SHRM-CP a plus. Education and/or Relevant Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a similar role at mid-size consulting, financial services, fintech, or government affairs companies and/or in fast-paced organizations. Bachelor’s Degree with a major/minor in business, accounting, HR, or a similar field.
