BlueFin is based in New Iberia, LA. We also have offices located in West Texas and Houston, Texas.Job SummaryThe Business Development Representative will focus on customer acquisition, account management and opportunity engagement. This position will be subject to Pipeline Process and Industrial Services Group. The main geographic areas of responsibility will be in the Baton Rouge and Lake Charles Downstream markets but may vary based on current needs. The Business Development Representative must demonstrate:A positive, energetic and mature disposition.The ability to identify, garnish and manage a client roster.A skill level sufficient to communicate a technical understanding of the product.The competency to identify a client's needs.Creative and Adaptive.Work without day-to-day supervision.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDaily appointment schedulesWork to align Product Service Line team members with client groupOrganize and facilitate technical functions to be hosted by BlueFin; i.e. presentations, technical courses, technical demonstrations, etc.Discover potential clients through opportunity deals and partners; explore opportunities through active participation and engagementDevelop and manage a follow-up process on all completed projectsActively participate in the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) softwareObserve and nurture parent group synergy with clientsDevelop, maintain and inspire a team spirit within the Business Development groupMaintain personal integrity through professional confidentialityIncrease professional knowledge and competency through educational opportunities, industry publications, official industry associations, etc.Adhere to GATE company policies and procedures in a positive mannerOther duties as assignedExperience and Education5+ years of relevant service industry experience preferred3+ years of product service line specific sales experience preferredExperience in the downstream market within the Gulf Coast region a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screenBlueFin Services is an equal opportunity employer.
