Cold) weather conditions. · Routinely utilize independent judgment and discretion to identify potential issues and solve problems · Proactively identify any unsafe conditions, hazards, or code violations and communicate them effectively to management · Learn and utilize computer-based labor, material, and maintenance tracking system · Evaluate and identify job hazards and effectively communicate information to staff verbally and in writing through various venues, including weekly and daily safety meetings. -Tracks status of parts ordered and contacts vendors by phone and email as required. · Perform other duties as required REQUIREMENTS: · A minimum of 1 year experience with parts inventory. · The ability to identify parts and order parts from vendors. - Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes required. · Computer skills with MS Office Suite experience to include Word, Excel, and Outlook. · Be able and willing to learn and effectively utilize computer-based labor, inventory, and maintenance tracking applications · Possess the competencies, willingness, and ability to perform the duties of this position · Must be willing and able to lift and move items, parts, assemblies, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. · Must be willing and able to perform physical activities including heavy lifting, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors · High School diploma or equivalent · Valid Driver’s License issued in the United States · Authorized to work in United States PREFERRED: · Experience with parts inventory and purchasing · Experience with Mechanical Maintenance Systems and Practices · Experience with cycle counts and inventory controls/theories. · Experience with trucking operations Education: · Associates Degree (Preferred but not Required)
